NUDANCO’s 2016-2017 Executive Board Members


Co-President – Megan Trombi
Fifth Year Pharmacy Major, Psychology Minor
Fifth Year in NUDANCO

Megan has been dancing since the age of 2, and grew up training and competing in various styles at Paula Meola Dance in Sterling, MA. She has loved being able to perform in almost every style NUDANCO has to offer over the years (contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and even heels!) and has enjoyed being able to choreograph contemporary and jazz pieces for the company and see them come to life on stage. For her third year on the E-Board, she is so excited to be co-president once again with the amazing Melissa, and can’t wait to spend one last year with such a talented company and second family.

First Year Nurse Practioner Graduate Student
Fifth Year in NUDANCO

Melissa has been dancing and competing since the age of 4 with Creative Steps Dance Company in Tilton, NH. She is trained in multiple disciplines of dance, and she has found tap dancing to be her biggest inspiration. Melissa has been a member and choreographer of NUDANCO since her freshman year of undergrad at Northeastern and graduated this past May. She is back at Northeastern and pursing a graduate degree in psychiatric nursing. She is very excited to take on the role as co-president with the fabulous Megan Trombi for a second year and to work with such wonderful dancers. She hopes to spread the joy of tap and expand the presence of tap dancing within the company.

Treasurer – Laura Olsavsky 

Fifth Year Physical Therapy Major
Fifth Year in NUDANCO

Laura began dancing at age 3 at Connecticut Dance! in Monroe, CT where she trained in many styles including ballet, jazz, and irish step. She is grateful that NUDANCO has given her the opportunity to continue irish dancing while at Northeastern. As treasurer this year, she looks forward to working with all of the wonderful dancers and making lots of spreadsheets.

Secretary -Vicky Weng


Second Year Pharmacy Major

Hey NUDANCO! My name is Vicky Weng and I am a 2nd year pharmacy major from Houston, TX. I have been dancing since I was three years old at Houston Ballet before expanding myself to learn contemporary, hip hop, jazz, and modern. I have loved dancing and choreographing for this awesome company and is so excited for what’s to come as secretary!

Events Coordinator – Madeline Vesey

Fourth Year Communication Studies Major
Fourth Year in NUDANCO

Madeline is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and grew up dancing and competing in various styles, but primarily performs hip hop and tap with NUDANCO. She fell in love with the company her first semester of freshman year, choreographed her first piece in the fall of her sophomore year, and never looked back! This is her fourth year with the company and her second year on the E-board. She is extremely excited to be returning as the Events Coordinator and can’t wait to finish out her senior year with such an amazing group of dancers.

Creative Planner – Julia Touhey

Fourth Year Psychology Major, Biology Minor
Fourth Year in NUDANCO

Julia has been dancing since the age of 3 and prior to coming to Northeastern spent many years training and competing at Express Dance and Acrobatics in Milford, MA. She is trained in many styles of dance, with favorites including contemporary, tap, jazz, and acrobatics. This is her second year on the NUDANCO executive board and she looks forward to working with such an amazing group of dancers!

Co-President Elect, Fall 2017 – Sarah Sidd


Third Year Chemical Engineering Major, Math, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Minor
Third Year in NUDANCO

Sarah has been dancing and competing since the age of 3 with The Dance Studio CNY in Manlius, NY. She’s been trained in several styles but has always had a love for tap. Sarah is pursuing a degree in chemical engineering with minors in math, biochemical engineering, and mechanical engineering. She has been dancing with NUDANCO since her first semester freshman year and has since choreographed two pieces. She has loved having the opportunity to continue growing as a dancer in college and is beyond excited for the opportunity to be co-president starting in the fall of 2017!

Second Year Computer Science Major, Psychology Minor
Second Year in NUDANCO
Olivia is from the San Francisco Bay Area in California where she trained in ballet, jazz, and tap. She has been on the company since her first semester freshman year and has loved it ever since! Her favorite styles are contemporary and jazz, and her involvement in NUDANCO has ranged from ballet to hip hop. She’s super excited to be a part of Eboard and to continue working with such talented dancers!
